Irving Cliff was named after author Washington Irving by his friend, Philip Hone, the namesake of Honesdale. Given the picturesque view of Honesdale from the cliff, a four-story luxury hotel was slated to open on June 22, 1889, but, unfortunately, burned just weeks beforehand. This scent is dedicated to the beautiful and luxurious hotel which once stood atop Irving Cliff.
